How to Care for Your Handmade & Plant Dyed Goods
In order to properly upkeep the color fastness and brightness of your plant dyed clothing items there are a few important steps to take when washing.

Because of the natural source of dyes, please do not machine wash or dry your handmade goods as this can damage the delicate fabric/dyes. All clothing and handmade items should be:

1.) Hand Washed with cold water
​
2.) Wash using pH Neutral or eco-friendly detergent.
Dr.Bronners is a great one, but any natural soap will work. Because the dyes are sourced from plants, they can be impacted by any change in pH, normal laundry detergent is pumped full of chemicals and thus can impact the color fastness of your garment.

3.) Hang to dry out of direct sunlight, as this can cause fading for some dyes.
​
4.) Overall, try to wash as little as possible!
Lady Nada Organics tests the wash fastness of garments by washing/drying according to regular laundry instructions cycle, so do not worry if you accidentally throw it in the wash! All natural colors are chemically bound to the fabric using a mordant/
​
Spot Treatment: Run under cold water immediately. Wash the garment and lightly rub the stain, this may leave a lighter patch on the dye, but will reduce the appearance of the overall spot.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
At Lady Nada Organics we understand the difficulty of online shopping. If you purchase a product and would like to exchange it, for a different size, this can be done for free within 30 days of the delivery date. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Refunds are credited via the same method you paid within 7 business days of receiving return.

Items on sale
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
